A little-known, passionate tale of a revolutionary hero returning to civilian life in a city that is still under curfew after liberation from Dutch colonial rule.

Written by poet Asrul Sani, this classic of Indonesian cinema took top honours at Indonesia’s Citra Film Awards, 1955.
