2019 CFS FILM QUIZ

Canterbury Film Society gratefully acknowledges the Rata Foundation and Madman Entertainment for their generous contributions towards the 2019 CFS Film Quiz.
The 2019 CFS Film Quiz is a celebration of cinema. Questions will include general film knowledge plus women in film, Cannes, documentaries, cult classics and ‘Name The Frame’.  ​
Film knowledge will carry you toward the heavens — and to victory!
Register your team NOW for a chance to fly high in our second Film Quiz. $10 per person, includes free drink.

The duration will be 90 minutes — timed to fit between NZIFF screenings. Prizes will be awarded to the three top teams, plus spot prizes. 

Doors open 3:30 pm for collection of tickets and drink tokens. Drink tokens must be redeemed from the foyer bar before 3:50pm.

  • No door sales, registrations close Friday 16th August.
  • Players participate as a team of 4. Groups of 4 may register together; smaller numbers will be allocated to form a table of 4. 
  • One registration per group, no need to sign up for each individual in the group.
  • Spaces are limited, so you may be placed on a waiting list if we've reached capacity (60 seats). We'll be in touch if a space becomes available. 
  • Payment must be received within 3 days of registration or your place may be offered to a team on the waiting list. 
    If you are registering for less than 4 people, we will combine you with another group(s) to form a table of 4. We will choose which team name to use for your table.
